If you miss the pick-up, continue to add food scraps to the Decomposition Depot compost bin and we will pick it all up on collection day.. If it becomes full before your next pickup, put extra food scraps into any bag or bucket and set it out with your bin on your next collection day.

Our bins are custom 5 gallon buckets. They measure, roughly 11” x 14”.

Nope! Although some folks will want to use compostable bags in their kitchen counter bins, you do not have to. Feel free to toss food scraps directly into the Decomposition Depot bin. Some folks prefer to use lunch size paper bags to hold food scraps while cooking. You are more than welcome to then through the entire bag into your Decomposition Depot bin.
